From a Maktupur counter to two showrooms.

The Ashoka story started in 1991, when Ashokbhai began trading from his village, Maktupur મકતુપુર, near Unjha — earning a quiet reputation for fair pricing and honest fabric, family by family.

For twenty-four years — until 2015 — Ashoka stayed rooted in the village. That year, the first proper retail store opened in Unjha. It outgrew its space by 2024, when we moved into a larger showroom in town. And in 2026, we opened a second showroom in Pratham Estate, near Dethli Char Rasta, Sidhpur — the same family, the same promise, a new community.
